Word of Wisdom

We will experience Immanuel, God with us when we know that all the talents that God has belongs to us in a covenant relationship. All talents are shared.

God told us that we can have all His wisdom liberally without reproach in the epistle of James. Have you been asking for it?

James1:5-6 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

You can have faith in Him that when you ask Him for wisdom. He will allow you to draw on His wisdom including having a word of wisdom to know how to act in a particular situation. The word of wisdom is something that the Lord drops into your heart giving you the know how to move things forward.

What is not the word of wisdom? It is NOT acquired wisdom in the affairs of life neither is it applied knowledge. The word of wisdom received is different from the prayer that we pray to God to have the wisdom to know how to deal with the affairs of life. That wisdom to know how to deal with the affairs of life is given to everyone when we ask God for it.

We are talking about the word of wisdom through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. God is the source of all wisdom and knowledge. He is omniscient and nothing is hidden from Him. However, He can choose to reveal to us a small part /portion of what He knows. Therefore, it is termed as a word of wisdom because the information is fragmented. It is imparted to us supernaturally by the revelation of the Holy Spirit’s will. The word of wisdom can come in the form of a vision, dream, audible voice, prophecy and or tongues with interpretation.

The word of wisdom has to do with the future which is different from the word of knowledge. Of course, the two might work hand in hand depending on the situation that God chooses to reveal. God gives you the opportunity to see a future even if it may not be pleasing – this can then be changed by prayer and the Holy Spirit.

Prophecy can be and in most instances is a word of wisdom.

We will experience Immanuel, God with us when we know that we have God’s nature in us when we are in a covenant relationship with Him.
