Weighed … and Not Found Wanting!

All of us have sinned against God.
There are those who are not aware of this or refuse to acknowledge this. However, many do know that there is a higher Being, one who is holy, just, and righteous. They know that because of His holiness, nothing can appease His wrath against sin. They know half the story.
Knowing only half the truth, they are tormented and feel condemned by their conscience. They are trapped in the endless cycle of striving to make it right with God through their own strength and as they know how through philosophy, good works, rituals, etc.
But no amount of good works, or anything else for that matter, can bridge this gulf that sin has wedged between man and God. Any and all good works that we will ever produce will carry the taint of sin. Sin has corrupted the perfect world that God had made, and the wages of sin is death. There was no way out of this mess. We simply could not work our way back to reconciliation with our Creator.
Colossians 1:13-14 (NKJV) He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Romans 8:32-33 (NKJV) He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
God had to make a way. For His name’s sake and because of His lovingkindness, He initiated the only possible plan for salvation. By the sacrifice of Jesus Christthe only perfect and sinless Man on the cross of Calvary, our sins have been forgiven through His shed blood.
We are now justified and declared righteous by Him who holds the highest authority there is! If someone were to bring a charge against us, if we were to be weighed, no more would we be found wanting.
