Prayer Requests

  1. Pray for In Christ Singapore, for the mission of the church. That we can build together in unity the house of worship and prayer God calls us to do. That we can be a church that is vibrant, welcoming, for people to encounter God, heart of worship, and a praying church.
  2. We pray for the situation in Ukraine. We pray for a peaceful resolution over the land. We seek comfort and strength over the lives of those affected by the acts of violence. We pray for wisdom upon the leaders to manage the volatile situation.
  3. We pray for our church members to be in good health and God’s protection upon their lives. We pray that each and every one of us can continue to be salt and light among our colleagues, families and friends.
  4. Praise God for the Activity Centre. We pray for all the activities that are being hosted in this place. We pray that we be a blessing to the community around us and see many lives transformed and encounter God there.
  5. Pray for the Sunday service. For God’s presence and Spirit to be among us. Pray for protection on the children at Kids Church and the youth at Youth gatherings.

  7. Pray for Ps Daniel and our mother church in SH. For God’s protection and wisdom in the midst of this time. For them to be able to reopen their on- site services.

  1. Explain the analogy of the seed and the soil, and the implication of accepting the word of God in our lives through listening, accepting, bearing fruit and multiplying. What can we do when we hear the preaching of the word or read God’s word in order to help it to grow in our hearts and take root in our lives? (Mark 4:13-20; Rom 10:17)

When doubt or unbelief arise in your walk with the Lord, what are some scriptures that help to substantiate the truth about the assurance of your salvation as the seed that has been sown into your heart? What are the trickeries of the devil to steal the seed (word of God) from us? (Rom 10:9-11; John 1:12; Eph 1:13-14; Eph 2:8-9; John 10:10; Eph 6:16)
  3. Knowing that the devil can steal the seed (word of God) easily, unless the seed has grown in our hearts, germinated to taken root in our lives and developed into a conviction as a grown tree, discuss how are we expected to react by faith or fight against the devil with the weapon and armor of God? (Heb 11:1, 6)
