Remaining In God’s Presence
Message by Rory Lin, 1 Mar 2026, 10am service
Main Passage: Psalm 27
- In moments of pressure, uncertainty, or emotional distress, what is my instinctive first response—seeking solutions, seeking people, or intentionally seeking the presence of the Lord? What does “one thing I have desired” look like in my current season of life? (Psalm 27:4)
- When David declares that the Lord is his light, salvation, and stronghold—not merely that God gives these things—what does this reveal about the foundation of my own faith? Is my confidence rooted in what God does for me, or in who He eternally is? (Psalm 27:1–3)
- Is there a situation in my life right now where God may be inviting me to wait—not passively, but with courageous trust? What would it mean, practically, for me this week to “wait on the Lord” in a way that strengthens my heart rather than drains it? (Psalm 27:8, 13–14)
