Listening To The Shepherd
Message by Senior Ps Daniel Ho, 13 Sep 2026, 10am service
Main Passage: John 10:9-16, 27-30
- In a rapidly changing world shaped by AI and uncertainty, where do you find yourself most needing to hear and follow the Shepherd’s voice rather than relying only on your own understanding? How would you describe the God you know, and through what experiences in your life have you seen that He truly knows, understands, and cares for you? (John 10:9-14, 27; Hebrews 4:12)
- How would you describe the difference between the spirit, soul, and body, and what role does each play in a believer’s journey of following Christ? To what extent are you able to maintain a clear, sensitive, and unviolated conscience before God? How can we keep our hearts tender and our spiritual channels open so that we can continue to hear and follow the Shepherd’s voice? (Hebrews 9:14; Ephesians 4:29-31; Hebrews 4:7)
- What practices help you discern the different voices within you? Can you share an experience or story of how you have heard and responded to God’s voice? Among the spiritual disciplines that help us hear God more clearly, which ones are most meaningful to you or which ones would you like to practice more intentionally? (Romans 12:2; Joshua 1:8; Jude 20)
