Handling the Word of Truth Correctly

Main Passage: 2 Tim 2:15

1. Discuss/share what your favorite Bible verses are. Do you memorize Scripture? If so, what are the benefits of doing so; if not, what keeps you from doing so?
2. Discuss your understanding of John 15:7 based on what you learned in the sermon. What are the three things you need to consider when interpreting this passage (or any passage)?
3. Why is the correct interpretation of Scripture vital to your faith?
4. The sermon challenges us to go beyond casual Bible reading. List some of the facts we need to know about the Bible so that we know the Bible is not just another book.
5. Discuss/share/reflect on suggestions given in the sermon to equip us as proven workers who can accurately read and teach the Word of Truth?
