Prayer Requests

  1. Pray for In Christ Singapore, for the mission of the church. Pray that we be a church that welcomes the presence of God; and strong in prayer and worship.
  2. We pray for the situation in Ukraine. We pray for a peaceful resolution over the land. We seek comfort and strength over the lives of those affected by the acts of violence. We pray for wisdom upon the leaders to manage the volatile situation.
  3. We pray for our church members to be in good health and God’s protection upon their lives. We pray that each and every one of us can continue to be salt and light among our colleagues, families and friends.
  4. Pray for the upcoming M’Hub. That it will be a place for us to connect with the community and be the blessing that we are called to be. We pray for connection points to engage the community and to see lives transformed as they encounter God’s love.
  5. Pray for the Sunday service. For God’s presence and Spirit to be among us. Pray for protection on the children at Kids Church and the youth at Youth gatherings.
  6. Pray for the Alpha sessions that have just begun, and the core team. For people to be saved and people to encounter God and grow deeper in their faith.
  7. Pray for Ps Daniel and our mother church in SH. For God’s protection and wisdom in the midst of this time. For them to be able to reopen their on- site services.
  8. Pray for our leaders, board members, cell group leaders and ministry heads. Pray for the wisdom and protection of God to be upon them.

Sermon Discussion Questions

  1. As Christians, we are constantly in a spiritual war. We are to always be on the alert, armed and ready with the armor that God has equipped us with. What is “putting on the armor of God” to you? Which piece of the armor have you been using the most?
  2. Every piece of the armor is important. We are to put on the WHOLE armor of God as it empowers us and strengthens us. Can you share testimonies where you are able to stand strong upon the victory already won through Christ even when we think the situation is hopeless?
  3. Ephesians 6:11 & 14 call us to stand firm in the truth as we fight against the wiles of the devil. What is the truth we are referring to and how does it enable us to win this fight against the devil?
  4. The armor of God is further strengthened when we build a strong relationship with God. Ephesians 6:18 calls us to pray always. What does it mean to be praying always? What difference does prayer make even as we are already equipped with the armor of God?
