- What do you think motivated Nehemiah in his rebuilding mission? Have you faced any situation(s) that affected you deeply? How did you react and respond to that? What do you learn about Nehemiah’s life mission? What are some principles that you can draw from his example?
(Gen 40:1–23; 41:9-13, Ezr 4:6–23; 1 Pet 5:3, Ps 54:4-5; Heb 13:6) - Have you ever prayed for someone or something fervently? What happened and how did it go? How do we know God will answer us when we pray? What did you discover about Nehemiah’s prayer that gave him the courage to act?
