Our Rights as a Child of God

Genesis 1:27-28a (NKJV) So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it”

If you have difficulty conceiving after marriage or if there is some medical problem, you can speak to the part of your body which has become a “mountain” in your life. The “mountain” represents an obstacle or challenge in your life, and you can speak to it to be removed in order to claim what is rightfully yours as a child of God in accordance with God’s will. For example, you can speak to the reproductive organs to function according to how God has created them. You can also speak to the male reproductive organs for the male fertility to be at a healthy level. You can speak to the ovaries or the ovulation cycle to be normal. You may want to speak to the fallopian tubes to be open and for the womb to be in good condition. You can speak to anything that is lacking or hindering the conception in Jesus’ name. You may want to speak to the body to ensure that the hormones will be in balance in the name of Jesus. You can speak to the body to ensure that the baby will stay in the womb and grow healthily in Jesus’ name! Speak to that particular part of the body and claim the promise that you are able to be fruitful and multiply by having children! Speak to your “mountain”.

Philippians 4:19 (NKJV) And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Having sufficient supply in our daily living is our right as a child of God. We should believe that the Lord will provide for all our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. The church and the needs of the ministry should never be affected by the lack of finances. Therefore, as the pastor, there will be times in my prayer that I will speak to the church offering to be increased and ask that the Lord provides for the work of the ministry. I will call forth the money to come into the church through the people whom He has found to be instrumental in the area of giving. Of course, there will not be any sudden surge in giving but the Lord will slowly but surely meet our budget for the year.

2 Timothy 1:7(NKJV) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Living free from fear is our right as a child of God. Fear can be one of the possible mountains in our lives. If we allow fear into our lives, then we will be intimidated and immobilized by it. It is a spirit of fear that might attempt to come against us. Some people might even feel the fear coming towards them but we are to speak to it boldly as it attempts to come against us. In fact, we might feel at times this fear comes towards us and we have to fight it. Speak to the spirit of fear! Say, “I come against you in Jesus’ name and I command you to go!” God has given you a spirit of power and vested power of Jesus Christ. Fear does not belong to us. Peace belongs to us because Jesus has left His peace with us. Claim it!
