Sermon Discussion Questions
-
- What was the first response from the people in the chapter 8 of Nehemiah to the Book of the Law being read? How does the word often challenge our status quo and have you experienced that in your own life? How does the word of God carry power?
- What happened in the life of the people as they heard the words of the law? How can we find joy through the word of God even when our situations are challenging?
- How can we see that the reading of words of the law led to obedience in Nehemiah 8:13-15? What should be our response to the word of God and the fruit of faith in our lives?
