Sermon Discussion Questions
- What was it that made Jeremiah confess in prayer “There is nothing too hard for you” and what was the situation he found himself in? How do see that Jeremiah’s situation can often resembles ours?
- Looking at Numbers 22:19 and Titus 1:2, we find that God cannot lie. In what way does that strengthen the trust that we can have in the word of God and His promises? What is it that faith and obedience together release in our lives?
- How does God remind Jeremiah of who He is? How will our view look different when we listen to the word of God and His wisdom? Has there been times where God has changed your view and helped you to see things through the eyes of faith?
- What are some of the things that God promises He will do in the life of His people according to Jeremiah 33:8-9, 12-13? How could we relate to those promises in our lives today?
