Main Passage: Colossians 3:1–2 (NLT)

  1. Looking back at your past week (bills, work pressures, family management), in what specific area did you find yourself slipping into “orphan survival mode” and relying entirely on your own hustle? What would it look like to practically “set your sights on heaven” in that exact situation this Monday morning? (Colossians 3:1–2)
  2. What is a “modern rule” or cultural milestone you have subconsciously enslaved yourself to in order to feel secure or validated? When the lights go down at night, how does relying on your own performance leave you still hearing the whisper of “I am still not enough”? (Colossians 2:23)
  3. How can we help each other move away from the performance of “faking it until we make it” and return to that raw, simple hunger of deeply needing and thirsting for Him? (Colossians 2:10, 2:7)
