Main Passage: Philippians 2:5–11

1. What does it mean to “have the mindset of Christ” in today’s world? How does Paul describe Christ’s mindset in Philippians 2:5–8? In what ways does this mindset challenge the values and priorities of modern society?
2. How has self-centeredness or the desire for recognition affected your relationships or faith journey? Reflect on times when pride or status-seeking shaped your actions. What might it look like for you to “empty yourself” as Christ did?
3. Jesus obeyed even when it was costly—obedient unto death. Can you share an example of a time when obedience to God was difficult for you? What helped (or would help) you remain faithful during such times?
4. What hinders you from practising humility and serving others more freely? Are there specific fears, insecurities, or cultural pressures you face? How can the group pray for and encourage one another to live more like Christ?
