His Grace is Sufficient
Ephesians 2:4-6 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus..
We need to understand that God gave Adam and Eve the dominion to look after all that He has created. Adam and Eve fell into sin and gave the dominion to the devil. Therefore, he is currently the god of this age. He has also taken with him one-third of the angels when he fell from heaven because his pride made him desire to be god. These fallen angels and Satan are still operating on this earth to kill, steal and destroy. They are doing exactly what the parable of the sower has said and they are creating every kind of situation to steal the word from your heart. You will operate in fear if you do not have faith in God which is based on the word.
We were once under the power of the devil when we were unbelievers but everything changed when we became born again. We were transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light! We are part of God’s kingdom where He rules and reigns in our lives. We need to learn to walk in this newness of life when we operate in the kingdom of God that is entirely different from the devil’s. We have a new position in the spiritual realm and we are vested with authority. We need to enforce the victory because the devil will attempt to encroach into our lives and deceive us to think that we are still his slaves and that we are powerless before him. It is not true and we need to resist him with God’s vested authority! God’s power is behind the authority!
He put all these principalities, dominions, might and prince of the power of the air under His feet! We are the body of Christ! Christ is the head of the church. God puts everything that is of the work of the devil under Jesus’ feet! We are His body, therefore the devil’s rightful position in our lives is under our feet! Jesus has already said that all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Him and we have been commissioned to go forth and enforce His victory.
Therefore, God has already entrusted us with the authority. Adam and Eve had authority because God has given them the dominion over the earth and the moral choice to decide. Likewise, we are given the right to exercise the authority given to us to deal with the work of the devil through the vested authority that He has given us. Take authority over the devil with the name of Jesus, enforce the victory and take authority now!
The whole world is under the sway, influence and even the dominion of Satan. But we are not under his kingdom or authority because we are children of God’s kingdom! We need to be aware of God’s grace and all His promises towards us even if we feel imperfect or insufficient.
1Pet 5:10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
Aren’t you glad that God is the God of all grace? His grace is sufficient for you even in your weaknesses. God said that after you have suffered a while, He will infuse grace into your heart to sustain you and give you the strength and ability to exercise the spiritual authority and go through every situation in life.
