Our Sins Have Been Paid in Full

Revelations 12:10-11 (NKJV) Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
We are accepted by God and have peace with Him because the blood of Jesus has redeemed us from our sins, and God’s wrath towards the sin of mankind has been appeased. We have received total forgiveness from God through the blood of Jesus.
Therefore, who can bring a charge against us if God has justified us? God, the Judge has declared that all believers have been made righteous because the blood of Jesus has washed away all our sins and He remembers them no more. No charges can be held against us when the devil accuses us before God because we have overcome by the blood of the Lamb.
Nonetheless, we are all imperfect and need to deal with the flesh until we get to heaven. Therefore, even though God has already chosen to see us in Christ, where we are accepted, seen as holy and righteous, the life of consecration is a lifelong process, and whenever we sin, the devil will be quick to condemn us.
Romans 8:1-2 (NKJV) There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, whodo not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
However, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because firstly, the Holy Spirit will empower us to break away from habitual sin. This empowerment is found in walking in the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus which made us free from the law of sin and death. The law of sin and death holds everyone in the bondage of sin just like the law of gravity holds everyone on the ground, whereas the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus gives us victory over the law of sin and death, in the same way that the law of aerodynamics overcomes the law of gravity.
Secondly, the blood of Jesus Christ has dealt with the sin issue that separated men from God once and for all. The sins of mankind in the past, present, and future have been dealt with when Jesus hung on the cross, shed His blood and offered it in the heavenly tabernacle. Jesus’ death is the ultimate and perfect sacrifice.
Therefore, we must remember that whenever the devil comes before God accusing us of our sins, Jesus is our Mediator and Advocate in heaven, and we can overcome any accusation and condemnation by pleading that the blood of Jesus has paid for all our sins.
